Power Detectors
SuperApex power detectors are broadband devices with low-loss directional couplers and built-in temperature compensation circuits.
These detectors are a simple way to monitor the strength of a signal flowing in a specific direction along a transmission line. These detectors are housed in a miniature lead-free plastic surface mount enclosure.
Typical applications include; Power monitoring and upgrading in point-to-point radios, IMS, radar, VSAT, EW, aerospace and defense systems.
Power detector GaAs MMIC DC~20 GHz
General description
The SAC1001 is a power detector incorporating a suitable detection diode (Vdet). A reference diode is also available for use in differential mode (Vref). It is designed for a wide range of applications requiring precise control of transmitted power, typically commercial communication systems.
The circuit is fabricated with a Schottky diode MMIC process with through holes through the substrate. It is available as a bare chip.
Phase Detectors
MSPD Series Incorporates an SRD reference frequency multiplier, coupling capacitors and a Schottky diode microwave phase detector / sampler in a 0.075 "x 0.100" hybrid. They are used to synchronize microwave oscillators up to 22 GHz to a much lower reference frequency by deriving a latch voltage from the sampled RF and the multiplied reference.
