Power Detectors

SuperApex power detectors are broadband devices with low loss directional couplers and integrated temperature compensation circuits. These detectors provide a simple means of monitoring the power of a signal that flows in a specific direction along a transmission line. These detectors are housed in a lead-free miniature plastic surface mounting box. Typical applications include; Power monitoring and upgrade in point-to-point radios, IMS, radar, VSAT, EW, aerospace and defense systems.

General Description

SAC1001 is a power detector that integrates a matched detection diode (Vdet). A reference diode is also available to be used in differential mode (Vref).

It is designed for wide range of applications where an accurate transmitted power control is required, typically commercial communication systems.

The circuit is manufactured with a Schottky diode MMIC process with via holes through the substrate. It is available in bare die chip.

Phase Detectors


MSPD Series Incorporates a SRD reference frequency multiplier, coupling capacitors, and a Schottky diode microwave phase sampler / sampler in a 0.075 "x 0.100" hybrid. They are used to synchronize microwave oscillators up to 22 GHz on a much lower reference frequency by deducting a lock voltage of the sampled RF and the multiplied reference.
